The record-breaking New Mobility Congress 2023 has concluded. Over 3 thousand representatives from the e-mobility industry from all over the world came together for three days to discuss key trends and challenges related to transport transformation. Over 150 partners and exhibitors, on an exhibition space of 13,000sqm at EXPO Łódź, presented the latest zero-emission technologies. The key takeaway from the largest mobility conference in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region is that Poland needs to seize the historical opportunity offered by the development of electromobility for its economy.

The fourth, record-setting edition of the New Mobility Congress is now behind us. The numbers attest to the event’s scale: six stages, almost 3 thousand participants, over 300 speakers from around the world, 100 debates, workshops and scholarly presentations, over 150 partners and exhibitors, 15 industry premieres, 19 thousand sqm of expo space. Participants included representatives of EU institutions, central and local government administration, ambassadors, business representatives, higher education institutions, law firms, the third sector, and the media. 5. Poland and Europe must become a production powerhouse in the battery sector.
Under the slogan “Polish Battery Day”, a lot of space at KNM 2023 was dedicated to the battery industry, a key area for the development of electromobility and the Polish economy.

6. Development of smart charging technology is a priority in the charging infrastructure sector.
During NMC 2023, top stakeholders in the charging infrastructure sector discussed the regulatory, market, and technological opportunities and challenges associated with smart charging technology in Poland and the CEE region.

A lot of space during KNM 2023 was devoted to the role of hydrogen, as the fuel of the future in transport.

8. Cooperation between local governments and business is key to accelerating the expansion of urban charging infrastructure.
One of the main themes of NMC 2023 was the expansion of urban charging infrastructure.

9. Electromobility is not only about cars, buses, and motorcycles.
KNM 2023 participants also discussed the prospects for development and challenges in the market for electric agricultural, construction, mining, handling, and all other off-road vehicles (NRMM) used in various sectors of the economy.
