The demand for artificial intelligence specialists in Poland continues to grow rapidly, according to data from the recruitment platforms rocketjobs.pl and justjoin.it. AI and machine learning have become one of the fastest-developing areas on both job boards, with the number of job advertisements in this category more than tripling within a year.<\/p>\n
Between Q1 2025 and Q1 2026, the number of AI\/ML job offers rose from 432 to 1,326. The increase is visible across all levels of experience, but the strongest growth has been recorded among senior and executive-level roles. The number of senior-level AI\/ML job offers increased by 228%, while C-level positions rose by as much as 460%.<\/p>\n
This suggests that companies are no longer merely experimenting with artificial intelligence or looking for people at the beginning of their AI journey. Instead, they are increasingly seeking experienced professionals capable of delivering measurable business results from day one.<\/p>\n
The structure of candidates applying for AI-related positions is also changing. The share of senior specialists in the total number of applications increased from 28% to 43%, while the share of junior candidates fell from 27% to 16%. At the same time, the total number of applications grew by 156% year on year, showing that AI remains one of the most attractive areas for jobseekers.<\/p>\n
\u201cAccording to our data, AI\/ML is no longer a niche for enthusiasts. A more than threefold increase in the number of job advertisements year on year shows that organisations which had previously been building AI strategies on paper now need to fill real positions and deliver results,\u201d says Przemys\u0142aw Depka Prondzinski, Head of Customer Success at justjoin.it and rocketjobs.pl.<\/p>\n
He adds that this is one of the factors behind the shift towards senior specialists.<\/p>\n
\u201cCompanies are looking for someone who has already built a production model, understands infrastructure, can communicate with the business side and does not need to be guided step by step. The growing share of senior professionals reflects increasing pressure to achieve ROI from investments in AI,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the market is becoming more difficult for junior candidates.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the other side, we have juniors, whom the market is quickly verifying. The hype has attracted many people, but technical requirements are highly selective.
