Thorium Space has signed a technological and business cooperation agreement with Creotech Instruments S.A. in the field of advanced satellite communication systems. The agreement covers, among other areas, the joint development of technologies and products, as well as the offering of comprehensive satellite systems to commercial, institutional and defence-sector clients.<\/p>\n
The partnership gives both companies the potential to use their respective products and technologies in selected areas of cooperation. Thorium Space will adapt its satellite communication solutions and telecommunications payloads for integration with the HyperSat satellite platform, drawing on Creotech Instruments\u2019 expertise in space mission integration and execution. The cooperation also includes the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the possibility of jointly participating in future technological or business initiatives.<\/p>\n
Work is currently under way on the concept of a joint mission, which is planned to be submitted under European Space Agency programmes. In the longer term, the partners plan to carry out operational satellite missions using the communication technologies being developed for commercial and government applications.<\/p>\n
One potential area of cooperation involves technologies related to the security and resilience of satellite communication systems. Thorium focuses on solutions that enable secure data transmission between satellites and end users using dedicated satellite infrastructure. Creotech Instruments S.A., Poland\u2019s largest space mission integrator and satellite platform manufacturer, has obtained flight heritage and, amid growing interest in its solutions, is developing next-generation satellite platforms for a wide range of applications, including the SATCOM segment.<\/p>\n

The agreement opens the door to discussions on the creation of comprehensive solutions covering both the space and ground segments for the secure SATCOM market and dual-use technologies.<\/p>\n
