Marcin Sołtysiak Acquires 100% of Polenergia Fotowoltaika

Marcin Sołtysiak, industry investor, President of ELQ S.A. Group and the Group’s main shareholder, has finalised the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. The transaction was carried out through an investment vehicle linked to the ELQ S.A. Capital Group.

The acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. is an important step towards developing Marcin Sołtysiak’s investment activity in the energy sector and building a broader competence base around the ELQ Group. The transaction strengthens the Group’s presence in distributed energy, modern renewable energy solutions and energy services addressed to individual, business and institutional clients.

Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. is a company with market recognition, operational experience, a team, know-how and a customer base. These elements provide a solid foundation for further development under the new owner.

Following the change of ownership, the company continues its operations without disruption, carries out ongoing projects and maintains customer service in line with existing rules. Current contracts, service arrangements, warranties and obligations towards clients and partners remain in force.

“I see the acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika as a strategic step towards building a strong, scalable position in the segment of distributed energy and modern renewable energy solutions. We are taking over a company with an experienced team, real know-how and customer trust — the foundations on which further growth can be built.

Our ambition is not only to continue operations, but to give them new momentum through technological development, expansion of the offer, increased operational scale and the use of synergies with the competencies gathered around the ELQ Group in the power sector. We see this acquisition not as a single transaction, but as part of a broader development strategy in the area of energy transition. Distributed energy, local energy sources, customer services and the integration of modern renewable energy solutions will become an increasingly important part of the market. We want to actively participate in this process and build a position in segments that will matter for the future of Polish energy,” said Marcin Sołtysiak, President of ELQ S.A. Group.

The transaction fits into Marcin Sołtysiak’s long-term investment strategy, focused on developing competencies in the power, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. Linking the transaction with the ELQ S.A. Capital Group creates potential to use the sector, organisational and technical experience gathered around the ELQ Group.

The new owner’s objective is to further strengthen the market position of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A., develop the team’s competencies, expand operational capabilities and build scale based on sector experience, organisational resources and a long-term approach to growth.

The next stage will involve an orderly process of further development of the company and identification of potential business synergies. This process will be carried out while maintaining operational continuity, stable customer service and the fulfilment of current obligations.

The acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. opens a new stage of development in the distributed energy segment — an area that will play an increasingly important role in the energy transition, improving energy efficiency and building a more resilient, decentralised energy system in the coming years.
