Drees & Sommer Acquires Polish Project Management Firm ADC

ADC, a Polish company specialising in project management and construction investment planning, has become part of the global consulting firm Drees & Sommer. The group has acquired 100% of the company’s shares. The transaction was finalised on 6 May 2026. The acquisition will strengthen Drees & Sommer’s services for international and local clients in Poland and across the Central and Eastern European region.

Founded in 2018, ADC provides integrated services in architecture, design and technical consulting, as well as project management and supervision of investment implementation. The company has established itself as a strong player on the Polish market and continues to record stable growth.

Around 70 ADC employees will join Drees & Sommer Poland, after which the company will employ more than 90 people across four offices in Poland, located in Warsaw, Rzeszów, Wrocław and Katowice. Thanks to the integration of the teams, the company will offer comprehensive investment support in a one-stop-shop model — from design and planning to implementation and supervision.

A Milestone for Drees & Sommer in Poland

“Poland is one of the most dynamic investment markets in Central and Eastern Europe,” said Steffen Szeidl, Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Drees & Sommer. “The acquisition of ADC is an important strategic step for Drees & Sommer. We are gaining a proven partner with strong planning capabilities, an extensive network of relationships on the local market and a highly experienced management team. This combination means that we are significantly strengthening our presence in the Polish market, while also increasing our capacity to actively develop it.”

“ADC perfectly complements our existing consulting capabilities with advanced planning and implementation expertise in Poland,” added Jörg Wohlfarth, Partner at Drees & Sommer. “Together, we can offer comprehensive solutions covering the entire investment process, combining international experience with in-depth knowledge of the local market. This is a key success factor in the delivery of complex and large-scale projects in Poland and across the CEE region.”

Expanded Interdisciplinary Capabilities and a Comprehensive Service Offering

By joining forces with ADC, Drees & Sommer is significantly strengthening its interdisciplinary capabilities in Poland, expanding its local offering with advanced services in investment planning and implementation. The acquisition will allow the company to offer comprehensive solutions on the Polish market, combining consulting, design, management and supervision services within a single organisation.

“Joining Drees & Sommer opens up new development opportunities for ADC,” said Bogusław Paciorek, Managing Director of ADC. “At the same time, we are maintaining our organisational culture, strong position on the local market and existing management model. Our clients will benefit from a broader offering and international experience.”

Drees & Sommer stands out for creating sustainable, innovative and economically efficient solutions tailored to clients’ individual needs. Thanks to its interdisciplinary teams, the company combines global experience with local expert knowledge. Drees & Sommer currently operates in more than 80 locations worldwide, delivering nearly 7,000 projects for clients in Europe, the Middle East, China, the APAC region and North America.

Over the past eight years, ADC has completed more than 300 projects across Poland — from large logistics, industrial and office investments to complex urban revitalisation projects and residential developments. Key projects include the delivery of a 50,000 sqm distribution centre in Opoczno for Jerónimo Martins, carried out jointly with Drees & Sommer under a formula covering design, project management and implementation supervision.

Other projects include the revitalisation of the historic Bracia Jabłkowscy Department Store in Warsaw, the expansion of Quemetica’s salt production plant in Janikowo, major residential investments for Victoria Dom in Warsaw and the surrounding area with a total area exceeding 100,000 sqm, as well as the delivery of an innovative bus depot with hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in Konin, supporting low-emission public transport.

“Our teams share common values and the ambition to deliver high-quality integrated project solutions,” added Łukasz Lenczewski, Managing Director at ADC. “The close cooperation between ADC and Drees & Sommer has already proven itself in practice. Together, we are better prepared to support the delivery of complex projects in Poland and beyond.”

For now, the official name of the company, ADC Sp. z o.o., will not change. The organisation will operate under the logo “ADC – Part of Drees & Sommer”, and the management team will remain unchanged.
