Gaming Factory SA increases H1 revenue by 120% and focuses on the implementation of a key title

In the first half of the year, the Gaming Factory Group generated net revenue of 1.4 million PLN, which represents an increase of nearly 120% compared to the same period last year. The company significantly reduced the number of published titles this year, focusing instead on the production and development of key games due to a strategy update implemented last year. The currently most important title in the Gaming Factory portfolio is Japanese Drift Master. The game’s wishlist surged past 170,000 signups just five months after its announcement. The JDM demo will be officially presented on October 9th at the Steam festival.

“This year we are consistently implementing our assumptions, which we defined in our development strategy. We are more selective about new publishing titles and focus on the further development of the most profitable games. The first half of the year has been a period of significant team expansion and intensive work on titles, including our biggest game Japanese Drift Master. In May, we published the DLC Electrician Simulator, the first revenues from which will be booked in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the console premieres of Electrician Simulator, Bakery Simulator, and Zookeeper will take place,” says Mateusz Adamkiewicz, CEO of Gaming Factory.

From January to June 2023, Gaming Factory Group’s revenue from sales was 1.4 million PLN compared to 0.65 million PLN a year earlier. The net loss in the first half year was 0.37 million PLN compared to a loss of 0.76 million PLN in the comparable period of the previous year.

In addition to porting its best-selling titles, this year, Gaming Factory plans to release Booze Masters (developed by Asmodev) on the PC and Realm Protector (developed by Ultimate VR) on Meta Quest 2.

The company emphasizes its focus on its key production, Japanese Drift Master.

“Japanese Drift Master can undoubtedly be a significant milestone in the development of Gaming Factory. We’ve never had a production that gathered player interest so quickly, so this is the game on which we have the highest expectations. More than 170,000 players want to play this title just five months after its release. On October 9th, during the Steam festival, we will be able to present a demo version of the game and hope that it will further boost the recognition of JDM,” concludes Mateusz Adamkiewicz.
