Matexi Polska closed the first half of 2026 with 195 apartments sold, marking an increase of around 15% compared with the same period last year. The developer continues to expand its activity in the Warsaw and Kraków markets, steadily adding new projects to its portfolio. At the same time, it is seeing a continued trend towards more cautious purchasing decisions, with buyers increasingly choosing completed apartments or units at an advanced stage of construction.

Matexi Polska, which operates in the residential markets of Warsaw and Kraków, signed a total of 195 development and preliminary agreements with customers in the first half of 2026. This was approximately 15% more than in the corresponding period of 2025, when the company signed 170 agreements.

In the second quarter of 2026 alone, the company sold 103 apartments, slightly outperforming the previous year, when 99 units found buyers.

“We assess the market situation with moderate optimism. We continue to see a trend towards a longer purchasing process, with customers postponing their decisions until closer to the completion date of a development. As a result, the market currently offers a large pool of completed apartments and units at an advanced stage of construction.

“Buyers are making highly informed decisions. They are primarily looking for functional layouts that allow them to achieve the largest possible number of rooms within a compact floor area, without compromising on comfort. We are responding to these needs by increasing the share of apartments offered in a turnkey standard,” said Mirosław Bednarek, President of the Management Board of Matexi Polska.

During the first half of the year, the developer continued to expand its offer. In May, sales began for Apartamenty Józefińska 16, a project located in the heart of Kraków’s historic Stare Podgórze district. The intimate development will include 45 apartments and nine commercial units.

Earlier, in the first quarter, sales also began at Verdea Żoliborz, a residential project at 6A Przasnyska Street in Warsaw. The company also plans to launch sales of the third phase of its Bukowińska Mokotów project later this year.

“We remain consistently focused on expanding our operations in Warsaw and Kraków. We select attractive locations with good access to public transport and service infrastructure, while placing strong emphasis on the high quality of our developments. Our current portfolio consists mainly of projects in central city districts, but we are also opening up to locations such as Targówek, Ursus and Białołęka in Warsaw,” added Katarzyna Mirota, Member of the Management Board of Matexi Polska.

In the second quarter of 2026, Matexi Polska handed over 119 apartments to customers. Since the beginning of the year, buyers have taken delivery of 146 units in total.

For comparison, during the corresponding period of 2025, the company handed over 154 apartments, including 82 in the second quarter.
