SD Worx, a Belgian-based payroll, HR, and tax services provider, has acquired the Polish market leader in SAP HR, Gavdi Polska, previously owned by Danish based Gavdi Group. Gavdi Polska, with headquarters in Warsaw, provides consulting and application support services for SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) and SAP SuccessFactors. It also has its own complementary products to enhance the scope of SAP HR solutions. Thanks to this transaction, SD Worx is strengthening its capabilities in human resources and payroll solutions for medium and large enterprises.

Gavdi Polska is a market leader for SAP HR in Poland, offering a full portfolio of solutions, both in the cloud and on premise. The company was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of the Danish Gavdi Group and currently serves over 250 clients – predominantly local, from the sector of medium and large companies, such as Raben Group, DPD Polska, Canal+, Ciech Group and PKO Bank Polski. Gavdi Polska employs over 120 SAP HCM experts and maintains offices in Katowice, Poznań, Warsaw, and Wrocław. In 2022, the company generated revenues of approximately 8 million EUR.

The acquisition allows SD Worx not only to bolster its capabilities in SAP HR, but also to strengthen its position in the dynamically developing Polish market, where it has been present since 2021. Over 220 employees of the company in Poland support local and international clients in HR and payroll area. SD Worx sees significant developmental opportunities in Poland, a country with the largest population in the CEE region and currently the 6th largest economy in Europe.

“Our ambition is to be a trusted European provider of integrated, comprehensive HR solutions for all organizations and employees. The acquisition of Gavdi Polska fits into the development strategy of SD Worx. It aims at providing HR and payroll solutions to employers of any size across Europe and supports expansion in the CEE region, while also enhancing the capability to offer SAP HR systems to large organizations. We are convinced that thanks to our expanded offering and growth in the region, clients of both companies will benefit from this transaction. We warmly welcome all Gavdi Polska professionals to the SD Worx family”, said Kobe Verdonck, CEO of SD Worx.

“We are looking forward to integrating with SD Worx. This gives our experts the opportunity to work with a recognized European team, allows the exchange of knowledge and experience in the area of SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP technology, which will ultimately enable mutual growth. We believe that our products, highly rated in Poland, will be acknowledged by companies from various European markets, which we will reach with the help of our new family. This all represents significant development opportunities, which will be beneficial for both our employees and clients”, stated Teresa Olszewska, CEO of Gavdi Polska.
