The stock market traded in high spirits this Tuesday. Asian and Oceanic exchanges reported significant gains with Japan’s Nikkei 225 up by 2.43% and Australia’s All Ordinaries gaining 1.03%. European indices also witnessed a rise, with Germany’s DAX surging by 1.56% and France’s CAC 40 up by 1.39% around 10:35 AM. The price of S&P 500 futures saw a moderate increase, climbing by 10.8% around 10:50 AM. Over the past three sessions, the WIG-20 was the strongest main stock index globally, with an increase of 4.55%. As of 10:50 AM today, after a rise of 2.11%, it reached its highest level in over two weeks.

Among the stocks included in the mWIG 40, Grenevia’s stock (formerly known as Famur) reached its new cyclical lows today.

The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury Bonds dropped to its lowest in a week yesterday, but as of around 10:40 AM today, it was slightly on the rise, standing at 4.662%. Poland’s 10-year government bond yields had exceeded 6% on Friday and Monday but decreased this morning to 5.979%.

A week after the suspected intervention by Japanese financial authorities in the currency market, which was believed to occur if the USD/JPY rate exceeded 150 JPY, the currency pair’s rate hovered slightly below the 149 JPY level. The EUR/USD rate cautiously approached the 1.06 level this morning, registering an increase of 0.29%.

The Polish złoty slightly strengthened, with the EUR/PLN down by 0.2% and USD/PLN down by 0.51% around 10:40 AM.

Bitcoin’s value against the U.S. dollar fluctuated between 27,000 and 28,500 USD this October, marking an increase of 0.21% around 10:40 AM.

The soybean contract price on CBOT dipped to its lowest since December 2021 this Tuesday morning. The recent breach of its late May and early August lows at the end of last September appears to be a significant indicator suggesting potential future declines. Following Monday’s sharp rise of over 4%, spurred by news of a Hamas attack on Israel, oil futures on NYMEX and ICE went up by approximately 0.2% around 10:30 AM today. Natural gas contract prices, after reaching their peak since this January yesterday, remained stable this morning. Precious metals saw a modest increase around 10:35 AM: gold was up by 0.44%, silver by 0.08%, platinum by 0.86%, and palladium by 0.89%. Palladium’s price was the lowest since December 2018 yesterday.
